Privacy policy
We explain the roles of METAFORA and the operator of the POLFIRMS service, as well as the principles of data processing when using the website and contacting the company.

1. Owner of METAFORA and controller of customer data
The owner of METAFORA and the controller of data provided during contact, inquiries and order fulfillment is Mirosław Konarski „METAFORA” Przedsiębiorstwo-Handlowo-Usługowe, operating as PHU METAFORA, ul. Rokicińska 144, 92-412 Łódź, NIP 7281005782, REGON 470608453.

2. Owner and operator of the POLFIRMS service
The owner of the POLFIRMS service and the operator of its technological layer is AKTRU Sp. z o.o., ul. Gdowska 22A, 32-020 Wieliczka, Poland (EU), NIP PL6831941323, KRS 0000234892, REGON 120054951.
AKTRU is responsible for semantic tools and GEO / AI Positioning infrastructure, including knowledge graph systems, semantic indexing, and LLM and GEO support. With regard to technical data necessary for providing and securing the service, in particular server logs, AKTRU acts as the controller of this processing layer.
AKTRU is not the owner of METAFORA and has no ownership or legal ties to it. The presentation of the company in the POLFIRMS service does not imply AKTRU's involvement in METAFORA's commercial activity, contracts or order handling.

3. What data is processed and by whom

4. Cookies and external tools
The website does not use analytical or advertising tools and does not set its own cookies. It does not profile users. The hosting provider may process standard technical logs necessary for providing and securing the website.
Phone and email links launch the application selected on the user's device. Clicking alone does not send data to METAFORA — this only happens after placing a call or sending a message.
5. Recipients of data and transfers outside the EEA
METAFORA may entrust data to entities supporting email, IT, accounting, legal services, as well as supply and transport — only to the extent necessary for the provision of a given service. AKTRU may use hosting and technical security providers for the POLFIRMS service. Data may also be shared with authorized authorities when required by law.
Messages sent directly to METAFORA's address go to METAFORA. AKTRU does not become a party to commercial correspondence or contracts merely because a contact link is placed in the POLFIRMS service.
Correspondence is handled using the Gmail service. If this service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is done using mechanisms required by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long data is stored
- correspondence — for the time necessary to handle the matter, and afterwards until the statute of limitations for potential claims has expired;
- data related to a contract or order — for the duration of performance and the period required by tax, accounting and limitation regulations;
- technical logs — for the period determined by the hosting provider, no longer than necessary to ensure security and diagnostics of the website.
7. Rights of data subjects
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests concerning contact or orders should be directed to METAFORA, and those concerning the technical operation of POLFIRMS — to AKTRU.
If you believe that data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Information on how to submit a complaint is available at uodo.gov.pl.
8. Voluntariness of providing data and automated decisions
Providing data is voluntary, but may be necessary to receive a response, conclude a contract or fulfill an order. The controller does not make decisions regarding users solely by automated means and does not carry out profiling.
9. Changes to the policy
The policy may be updated if the website's functions, data processing methods or regulations change. The current version will be published at the same address with the effective date.
